Boiling kills bacteria. Here's the safe method.

  • Glass toys
  • Stainless steel

What CANNOT Be Boiled

  • Anything with electronics or batteries
  • Toys with metal inserts (can rust)
  • TPE or jelly (degrades in heat)
  • Unknown materials

How to Boil

  1. Pot of clean water
  2. Bring to boil
  3. Place toy in water (don't let it touch the bottom—use a spoon to keep it suspended)
  4. Boil 10 minutes
  5. Remove with tongs
  6. Cool completely
  7. Air dry thoroughly

What Boiling Does & Doesn't Do

Does: Kill surface bacteria

Doesn't: Reverse material degradation, restore worn toys, remove stains
